A more efficient showerhead can reduce the amount of water an individual or family uses each month, and during a special event, Greeley residents will be welcome to exchange their old showerhead for a brand new one.
The Island Cove Exhibition building will be the location for a showerhead exchange, and it will be part of this year’s Greeley Tribune Home and Garden Show. The initiative has been developed by the Greeley Water Conservation Program, and those who wish to take advantage of the offer will need to bring along proof of residency, such as a water bill.
There will be several models in an assortment of finishes available for the public to choose from, and admission to the expo is free. People can bring their old showerhead to the organization’s kiosk for exchange, and both hand-held and fixed styles of models will be on offer.
Administering an initiative like this can be a good step in reducing the amount of water a community uses. Supplying those who exchanged their showerheads with step-by-step guides prepared by a printer's graphic design team will make it easy for the recipients to get their showers flowing and their water bills down.
The Shower Head Exchange will taking place from March 6 until 8. All residents of the city are encouraged to take part.
