Greeley gears up for garden sale

As Greeley gears up for another gardening season, one of its organizations made up of home horticulturists will be giving the city's plant fans lots to talk about.

The annual Greeley Morning Garden Club Plant, Bake and Craft Sale helps the organization to meet its expenses and undertake a variety of projects. It is slated for Sanborn’s Park, and those who arrive early will have access to the best selection.

The pop-up market will include an assortment of locally grown plants that can add a dash of color to a garden, and there will be club members on hand to answer questions. A variety of area artisans have also been invited to set up shop for the day, making it a good opportunity for shoppers to treat themselves or someone special. The sweet tooths can shop to their hearts’ content in the bake sale area, and while they mix and mingle, everyone can share their own best gardening tips and tricks.

Many activities hosted during the spring are held outdoors to take advantage of the more suitable weather. A banner printing establishment can prepare reusable popup signage for a company or group to help draw customers into an event.

The Greeley Morning Garden Club will open the gates of its 2026 Plant, Craft and Bake Sale at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 9. No advance registration is required.
