A Greeley venue is about to get the fun rolling when it welcomes a fundraiser that will support a local “leading lady”.
Dubbed "The Gram Cracker Bowl" in honor of Virginia “Gram Cracker” Banks, the activity planned for Highland Park Lanes will raise funds for her post-stroke medical care and support. There will be 32 lanes open for the whole family, and the doors will open half an hour ahead of when the first ball rolls down its lane.
The tickets for the event include two hours of bowling as well as shoe rental, and there will be snacks and beverages available for purchase. Up to five bowlers may use each lane, and there is enough room for a total of 160 spots. The venue’s bar will be open, and even if they can bowl, the public is still encouraged to drop by and bid on the donated Corporate Gifts and other items in the silent auction.
Grassroots level fundraisers can be quite effective, and may also go a long way towards raising awareness of a cause. A banner printing company can provide yard and other signage that may be useful when running a hyperlocal marketing campaign.
Greeley’s Gram Cracker Bowl is set to get rolling on June 14th. The doors will open at 12:30 pm, and spots can be reserved through its online listing.
