While the thermometer may say it's freezing cold, Greeley will be red hot with excitement thanks to an event that it has in store for early February 2026.
The city’s Freezy Daze will be a festival style occasion that will be filled with frozen fun. It will include lots of opportunities to show some love to its small business side and it is expected to draw a large crowd.
As many of the shops and other retail establishments in the downtown shopping district will be offering BOGO sales, it will be a chance for the public to stock up, and there will be other shopping deals as well. Everyone can watch the ice carvers at work, and a petting zoo will be filled with new furry, feathery and fuzzy friends to meet. A Lego train display and face painters will be on hand for the younger set, and there will be live, busker style performances.
To both add even more excitement to the occasion and encourage the public to explore Greely's downtown core, the organizers have had “Downtown Bingo” cards prepared, and prizes will be presented. Freezy Days is set to bring the fun to downtown Greeley on February 7th. Much of it will be taking place along 9th Street.
