Greeley set to welcome holidays in homesteader style

Greeley is a community with a strong connection to the past. An event will give the public a chance to step back in time and be part of a historically themed holiday celebration welcoming guests this December.

The Centennial Village Museum will be all decked out for a homesteader style holiday season, and it will offer a living history experience. A variety of activities, such as candle dipping by hand, will be exhibited, and many of these will be hands-on.

While the visitors enjoy the music and overall festive atmosphere they can make a craft to keep and take home, and Selma’s Store will be open with lots of ideas for holiday gifts. Admission to the function is $3 for each person who is at least three years of age, and anyone who is 12 or under will be admitted for free if they bring along a donation of a nonperishable food item for the Weld County Food Bank.

A modern day printing services company can help add to the historical feel of this sort of event. It can craft vintage-style Banners, Signs, Holiday Cards, and many other items, and these can aid in creating a memorable experience.

Centennial Village Museum will be welcoming the public for its holiday celebration on December 7. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
