Los Angeles has become a new location for Memphis-based video company VIA Productions due to corporate expansion.
VIA Productions has obtained a new center for
its work on 29th Street within Santa Monica. Business card printing in Torrance may be used by executives going forward. A producer called Nathan Babian has been appointed to manage the office in question. Chad Schaffler, an executive producer at VIA Productions, has told the Memphis Business Journal:
“This expansion increases our access to the best talent in the industry and it gives us a distinct opportunity to expand our post-production capabilities.”
In addition, Mr. Schaffler has commented on the size of the market in Los Angeles. He has argued that the resources in the vicinity of the office will help the business to grow and upgrade its service.
It has been reported that the expansion of VIA Productions to Santa Monica is part of a wider corporate strategy. It has been revealed that a permanent staff at the new base will try to address the needs of clients in Canada and the United States. There will be a concentration on the delivery of post-production services in particular.
The implication of the move is that there will be a division of labor between Memphis and Santa Monica. The president of VIA Productions, John Haun, has underlined the continued commitment the organization has to Memphis. Crews and artists will cluster in Tennessee.
