CM EV Services LLC has been launched by the Chanani Group to develop the infrastructure for charging electric vehicles (EV) across Southern California. The initial charging hubs will be in Torrance.
CM EV Services is partnering with Motive Energy on this project. Motive Energy is an energy and solar infrastructure provider that is one of the largest in the United States. The Sustainable Solutions division of Motive Energy will be the partner involved with engineering, procurement, and construction for all the initial projects and will provide support for ongoing operational and system integration.
The charging hubs in Torrance will have four high speed charging ports providing 240 kW output per charger. The infrastructure of these ports is designed for the next generation of demand by electric vehicles, enabling the expansion into sustainable and solar hospitality.
The three EV charging hubs in Torrance will be at the Alpine Shell and 7 Eleven car wash; the Sepulveda Crenshaw Plaza Shopping Center; and the building near Bound and Leap and Hanuman Temple. Local Print shops can help spread the news about such projects and their benefits for residents and the environment.
Motive Energy and Chanani Group are also collaborating on installing EV and solar charging stations at Bluestem Hotel, further integrating renewable energy into its commercial and hospitality portfolio.
The Chanani Group said that this initiative in general is a significant step in supporting the transition of the region to clean energy.
