Late Night Catechism Easter Edition will be coming to the James R. Armstrong Theatre on Civic Center Drive in Torrance next month.
Attendees will be able to celebrate the Easter season as Sister answers the important questions of the season, such as why Easter does not take place on the same day every year and whether one’s bunny will go to heaven. Such special performances are often promoted throughout a city with poster printing.
This show is part pageantry and wonderful comedy and is the latest in the funny series of Late Nite Catechism. Sister will discuss Easter baskets, bonnets, eggs, and bunnies and the favorites of the season, the Easter Peeps. Set up as a classroom, audience participation is encouraged as is wearing of an Easter bonnet.
The James R. Armstrong Theatre is fully equipped and ideal for both lectures and performances of all kinds with flexible sound, lighting, and stage features. The theatre seats 502 people and hosts large-scale meetings, community and professional productions, seminars, and screenings of films. Audiences enjoy superior acoustics and plush seating while events and performers have access to all the critical resources needed for their production.
This show will be on Saturday April 2 beginning at 2:00 pm and 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices range between $40 and $60 and can be purchased online or by calling the box office.
