The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors of the States of Nevada and California Chapter has awarded CitiCABLE three industry honors as part of the STAR Awards for outstanding cable TV programming.

Torrance Today, the daily live news show on CitiCABLE, took first place in the Professional Live News Format Category. It also came second in that category for its daily news program covering concerns related to the pandemic over the past two years, called COVID-19 Today. A program that featured the newest boutique hotel in the city and its impact on the community was named a finalist in the Economic Development Category.
Torrance CitiCABLE is a government access cable television channel that has won many awards and has provided television programming to the community for close to 40 years. Its programming can be viewed online from the city’s website and on YouTube, or seen on Frontier FiOS channel 31 and Spectrum cable channel 3.
The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors is a professional and non-profit organization that serves regional authorities and local governments in the development, administration, and regulation of cable stations and other telecommunications systems.
