Torrance fans of English-style beer will soon have a place where they can enjoy it close to home.
The Yorkshire Square Brewery is in the initial phase of its construction, and plans on offering the style of cask-conditioned beers that one would expect to find in the UK. Along with the beverages, the establishment plans on serving snacks and other light fare.
The beer that will be at the center of the brewer’s offerings will have its final fermentation stage finished off in wooden casks. According to Gary Croft, who is in charge of the establishment and from England himself, this style of brewing is not common in the US, but it is very popular in north of his country.
The 3,700 square feet of space will include a patio where patrons can enjoy their meal and beer out in the open air. Its design is being undertaken by Raveled Studio’s David Poffenberger. Custom Drinkware and other promotional items such as Posters, Flyers, Banners, and Signs can be designed and printed for establishments like this by a printing company.
The plan is for this new brewery and eatery to open its doors to its first customers by sometime in August. It will be located at 1109 Van Ness Avenue in Torrance. Further details can be found on its Facebook page.
