AppleOne, headquartered in Torrance, has recently been ranked by Forbes as number eight out of the 250 top professional recruiting firms on its list of America's Best Professional Recruiting Firms.
Brett Howroyd, president of AppleOne, commented that this recognition is a considerable honor. The focus of the company, which provides a full range of staffing and career services, is on the people, both its clients and candidates. Howroyd adds that this has been the foundation of the success of the company since it was founded on April 4, 1964 by his father, Bernard Howroyd, who opened an office in Los Angeles.
Howroyd continued that the company services its employers, candidates, and clients, noting that it was an exciting achievement to be among America’s Best Professional Recruiting Firms and be recognized by customers, employees, and peers.
Market research company Statista was used by Forbes to compile the list, with a survey that was sent out to recruiters, people who have used the services of recruiters, and human resource managers. In the survey, they were asked for recommendations of up to 10 recruiting firms. In all, 20,000 recommendations were received and those with the greatest number of recommendations ranked the highest.
