The residents of the neighborhood of Seaside Ranchos in Torrance will be decorating their homes for the holiday season, and providing a safe environment for visitors to enjoy the displays.
Known to those in the area as the Sleepy Hollow Lights Displays, this has been a tradition in the neighborhood for over 30 years. It is a spectacular display that attracts people from near and far. Visitors will be able to drive through the neighbourhood, walk up and down the several streets, and enjoy the scents, sounds, and sights of the season. Those in the area recommend coming at sunset on a weeknight and having dinner at one of the popular restaurants in the area, and then visiting the displays.
There will be parking restrictions on several of these streets, including Linda Drive, Doris Way, Sharynne Lane, and Carol Drive. There will also be illuminated message boards on Pacific Coast Highway, which will inform visitors of potential traffic delays in the area. Temporary “No Stopping” Signs will be placed along designated streets to allow for access of emergency vehicles. Local Print shops often assist informing visitors about such restrictions through the use of Flyers and other mailers.
These displays will be available for viewing from Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 27 and from 5:00 to 11:00 pm.
