Cryptocurrency services will now be offered by UNIFY Financial Credit Union (UNIFY) with a regional office in Torrance through NYDIG, a leading provider of bitcoin. This will enable its members to sell, buy, and hold bitcoin in addition to their more traditional accounts.
Flyer printing can be used by such credit unions to provide more details about services to their members.
Gordon Howe, president and CEO of UNIFY, said that his credit union is always looking to explore ways to serve the changing needs of its members and remain on the cutting edge of financial services as consumer interests and technology evolve. He added that with digital currency becoming more mainstream, this offering will provide a secure and convenient way for members to access cryptocurrency and maintain their regular accounts.
UNIFY is kicking off the launch of this new offering by partnering with John Johnson III, a pro-football player, to create a unique crypto-asset collectible made available as a limited edition. Anyone who makes a purchase of $500 in bitcoin within the next week will be entered in a drawing to win the collectible, along with an opportunity to participate in an online call with the football player.
Johnson expressed his excitement about partnering with UNIFY, which will be the first credit union to make cryptocurrency easily accessible for its members.
