Torrance-based Japanese restaurant opens new location

Yoshinoya America, based in Torrance, recently announced that it has opened its latest restaurant in Bakersfield.

This shop now enables Yoshinoya to boast that it has 2,000 locations around the world, including Singapore, Japan, mainland China, and Hong Kong, and many new locations in the Escondido and City Heights areas, and in Greater San Diego.

The restaurant in Bakersfield has a modern and sleek architectural style to provide an enhanced experience for customers. Yoshinoya serves fresh, wholesome Japanese cuisine and is known for its iconic menu items including sweet chili shrimp, grilled tilapia, teriyaki chicken, and original beef, served with noodles or steamed rice. There are new items on the menu at the Bakersfield location, including orange chicken, grilled steak and peppers, and Japanese yakisoba noodles.
