The LA Galaxy Sports Complex in Torrance will be the location for a block party this weekend.
Such events can be promoted throughout the community with poster printing.
The party will feature a game from the Major League Soccer regular season as LA Galaxy take on Chicago Fire FC. There will be food, music, and games as well as a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the LA Galaxy Sports Complex, which has been recently renovated.
The WingStop Truck will be offering free samples of its menu, including boneless and bone-in wings, to everyone attending the event, while Kinecta Federal Credit Union will be handing out ice cream. There will be other food trucks at the party in addition to retail vendors from LA Galaxy selling their merchandise. A youth soccer clinic will also be held.
The LA Galaxy Sports Complex is across the street from the Kinecta Soccer Center and close to the Torrance Civic Center. It is a state-of-the-art facility that spans 6.2 acres and features energy-efficient sports lighting that enables lacrosse, football, soccer, rugby, and other sports to be played throughout the year and high-quality synthetic turf.
The Block Party will begin at 3:00 pm this Saturday, April 16 with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the youth soccer clinic at 3:15 pm, and the game at 5:00 pm.
