Field Electric to move into Harbor Gateway

Torrance’s Harbor Gateway is getting a new tenant, with Fielding Electric, Inc. moving from Hawthorne. The company will be occupying the industrial building that once was home to a vintage car museum.

Fielding’s new space is located in a 9,200 square foot located at 1601 Lockness Place. The building sleek, concrete building was remodeled in 2012 and includes 2,200 square feet of office space, loading areas at ground level, and plenty of on-site parking.

The building sold for $1.86m and Fielding Electric is planning to invest additional dollars for structural improvements. Recently, all of the collectibles from the museum were cleared from the building and, presuming the latest renovations go well, the company will move into its new accommodations sometime in the third quarter.

For other companies in the area that provide business support services, such as printing companies that do brochure or catalog printing, the arrival of Fielding will no doubt be welcome.
