Handsome Little Devils Productions is bringing The Squirm Burpee Circus to the Armstrong Theatre in Torrance. The Vaudeville Nouveau circus is a unique, performance-based show for the whole family.
Rather than the clowns and exotic animal circuses in the Barnum and Ringling tradition, The Squirm Burpee Circus is closer in style to old-fashioned vaudeville with a modern twist. The four-person troupe, led by Mike the Handsome and Dashing Dave, will dance, juggle, joke, and sing their way through a story of love, obsession, and a monkey-powered wagon. The performers will awe and amaze their audience with a mix of classic circus acts, like The Human Cannon and Chainsaw Juggling, accompanied by vaudeville comedy.
The show will be in Torrance for a one-night performance on September 27. It will start at 8:00 pm, and tickets are now available for $30 per person. More information is available on the event’s website.
