The Holiday Tea and Boutique, presented by the Women in Business committee of the Torrance Chamber of Commerce, is taking place in just a few weeks.
The keynote speaker for the event is set to be Sheri Rose Shepherd, and the tea will also present the Athena award to Sherry Kramer. The award is given to a woman who best represents business achievement, shows leadership, and mentors those on the way up. Those who are eligible are nominated by other local businesswomen.
In addition to the speech and the awards presentation, guests will enjoy scones, sandwiches, and tea. They will also have the chance to do some holiday shopping from local vendors. All those attending are encouraged to bring a package of diapers, which will be donated to Rainbow Services.
The day provides an opportunity for networking with business peers too. A lot of the Torrance businesswomen planning to attend will likely be placing a new business card printing order before attending, ensuring that their supplies are plentiful and up to date.
