Santa Ana says goodbye to holiday train for another year

The yearly Orange County tradition of the holiday train continues this year in Irvine. The Irvine Park Railroad will be closing before the end of the month.

The railroad starts out in historic Irvine Park. As the train progresses on its journey, however, passengers are taken to the North Pole, with decorations and lights. The return trip also features lights and decorations, as well as the “Tunnel of Lights”.

In the village, Santa will be present, and will accept wish lists from children. Children can also have their picture taken with Santa. Guests may use their own personal phones or cameras, or may purchase prints of photos taken by a professional.

In addition, there are many activities for children to enjoy in the park, including cookie decorating, ice fishing, a moon bounce, and blizzard ball. These activities require tickets, which are available to purchase individually or by the book. There are a few free activities in the village, including coloring, story time with Mrs. Claus, and picture stands.

The village itself is free to visit. The village is located in Irvine, a 7 mile or so drive from Santa Ana.

Events like this often benefit from printing services. They may have Banners up to advertise or show the beginning of the area, and they might have Print outs of activities available. They also have printed tickets and activity tickets and such. The train and village will be closing on December 23.
