Santa Ana to organize festival to celebrate ukuleles

The Delhi Center in Santa Ana will host a music festival for ukuleles in March for those who are passionate about the instrument.

The Orange County Ukulele Festival is an annual experience where ukulele lovers can gather to hear live performances from talented musicians and participate in music workshops. Those who attend can join workshops with instructors like Jeff Peterson, Victoria Vox, and Daniel Ward. The workshops offered at the fest include Jam Without a Plan, Moving Chord Shapes, Arpeggio Meditations, and Hawaiian Style. There will also be an open mic night and group jam sessions.

The music fest is intended for musicians who are advanced-beginners and have a basic understanding of open chord shapes. Attendees are allowed to bring their own ukuleles and tuners to the festival. Things like music stands and seats will be provided by the venue. Guests may also bring money to shop at the on-site music marketplace. The vendors for this year’s event will include the Island Bazaar Ukulele Store, Hamakua Music Instruments, and Bookmark Music.

The ukulele-themed fest will be held from March 21st to March 22nd. The cost of a two-day pass is $160 per person. Those who only wish to attend on March 21st can pay $125. There will also be a concert on the 21st that costs $35 to enter. Organizations that organize music fests like this can utilize Print shops to make themed advertisements for their yearly events.
