Two skilled jazz musicians will come to the Sanctuary Studio in Santa Ana to give a concert and share stories in an intimate environment.
An Evening with Tony Guerrero and Jeremy Siskind is an hour-long program for those who enjoy jazz music. Tony Guerrero is an experienced jazz flugelhornist and trumpeter who has released several CDs during his career, such as Different Places and Another Day, Another Dream. He has worked with many famous artists, including Billy Idol, Chance the Rapper, and Paul McCartney. Guerrero started playing music at Jefferson Elementary in Santa Ana.
Jeremy Siskind is an award-winning jazz pianist and composer who has also written several instructional Books for musicians, such as Playing Solo Jazz Piano and the Jazz Piano Fundamentals series. He has played with many notable musicians, including Arturo Sandova, Jay Anderson, and Angelin Chang. Siskind went to school at Columbia University and the Eastman School of Music. He also teaches at Fullerton College and is part of the Jazz Education Abroad organization.
The evening with Tony Guerrero and Jeremy Siskind will take place on January 11th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. General admission to the show is $25 per person, and students can come to the performance for $15.
