Santa Ana to hold beer-themed marathon

The Beer City Festival in Santa Ana will have a marathon that will start and finish in Centennial Park.

The Beer City Half Orange County is an event that challenges participants to complete a race that takes place along the Santa Ana River Trail. Athletes can choose from multiple types of races, including a half-marathon, 10k, 5k, and a mile-long stroll. There will be aid stations throughout the course that will provide water, sports drinks, and gels to runners. Those who organize races like this may use banner printing services to make Signs that help guide runners through the courses.

There will be several volunteer opportunities for those interested in being part of the Beer City Half. People can help with registration-related tasks, monitor the course and direct runners at key points, and hand out water cups to passing athletes. There are also designated volunteer positions for cheering on runners at the finish line. Those who are 21 and older can help the organizers pour beer for the athletes who have finished their runs.

The racing event will take place on Saturday, November 1st. Those interested in challenging the half-marathon can pay $109.65, and athletes who want to participate in the Beer Stroll can enter for $35.45. There will be a virtual race briefing for participants on October 24th, and people can start picking up their bibs on October 31st.
