Santa Ana celebrates older adults

The senior services team for the City of Santa Ana will hold a community event in October at Jerome Park.

The International Older Adults Celebration is a program where adults who are ages 55 and over can learn about local resources and take part in fun activities. There will be live performances at the park, and attendees may win prizes throughout the celebration. Food will be offered at the park, and there will even be complimentary health screenings. Vendors who participate in similar festivals to this can use banner printing to create displays that help them stay visible to event-goers.

Companies can also be part of the celebration by sponsoring the event. Businesses that pay between $500 and $1,499 will receive a physical booth space, logo representation on the event’s thank-you sign for sponsors, and online recognition. Those who purchase higher sponsorship tiers will get perks such as being included in a community engagement activity and a mention in the event’s press release. All sponsors will be verbally mentioned on stage during the event.

The International Older Adults Celebration will be held on Friday, October 3rd. The fest will occur between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. People do not need to pay to enter the program, though online registration is available for the event. The festival will be set up at the baseball and softball field in Jerome Park.
