Spring is already in the air throughout Southern California, and San Leandro vendors will soon be taking to the streets to celebrate an annual festival intended to usher in more amenable weather conditions.
The 2026 San Leandro Cherry Festival & Parade is an annual event, and this celebration can trace its roots as far back as 1909. Organizers state that more than 30,000 residents attended last year's event, so a significantly high turnout is expected this year. As the title suggests, one of the main themes will involve cherry trees. There are nonetheless a wide range of additional attractions that guests can enjoy.
Some of these include an on-site farmer's market offering locally produced goods, a zone specifically designed to keep children entertained, a car show, vendor stalls, and community resource booths.
Annual festivals associated with seasonal themes will normally rely on marketing techniques that worked well in the past. Some approaches include hiring local printing services to produce Flyers, creating large banner advertisements, and asking volunteers to distribute Brochures.
Although the 2026 San Leandro Cherry Festival & Parade is scheduled to take place in June, vendors will need to submit an application by Friday, April 17th. Prices will depend on the type of business, and approved parties will be notified on Friday, April 24th. This festival is being held in Downtown San Leandro, and the exact route has yet to be determined.
