San Leandro mathletes prepare to prove talents

San Leandro children who enjoy solving math problems will be in for a treat this July thanks to the help of the San Leandro Public Library. Organizers have created an interactive event designed to test the mettle of the younger generation, and this festival is one of the first of its kind.

The JRMF Math Festival will provide a number of hands-on puzzles that participants can try to solve. Some of these are rather straightforward, while others will require the skills of a math wizard to emerge victorious. While this event is primarily geared towards children, it is open to the entire family. The informal nature of these games is also ideal for younger participants.

The event was named after Julia Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was a pioneering mathematician who made lasting contributions to computability theory. She also paved the way for other females to make an impact across the educational community.

Events associated with education tend to rely on informative marketing techniques so that audiences can keep up to date. Some strategies include poster printing, placing Flyers in educational institutions around town, and distributing Brochures that contain contact details.

The JRMF Math Festival is scheduled to be held on Thursday, July 16th. The event begins at 2 PM and will conclude at 3:30 PM. It is being hosted by the San Leandro Public Library located at 300 Estudillo Avenue. There is no charge to attend.
