San Leandro has always represented a rather tight-knit community, and an upcoming festival will provide a means to celebrate this sense of connectivity.
The area is beginning to plan in anticipation of the 2026 Rock the Block Community Festival. Similar to previous years, this event is being sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro. There are plenty of activities for all ages, so families are more than welcome to attend.
Some of the vendors that have confirmed their attendance include The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, The Alameda County Fire Department, Tandi Family Farms, the Lawrence Hall of Science, and the American Heart Association. Activities include a rock-climbing wall, face painting for children, sporting events, an on-site tech center, and the ability to closely examine a fire engine.
Annual events tied to local communities will often fall back on advertising techniques that proved their effectiveness in the past. Some potential examples include printing branded Letterheads containing pertinent festival information, handing out Flyers, and creating banner advertisements that can be hung in public locations.
The 2026 San Leandro Rock the Block Community Festival is being held on Saturday, September 12 between 12 PM and 5 PM. All festivities will take place within the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro, located at 2200 San Leandro Boulevard.
