A store with a location in San Leandro is running an interactive experience for guests in a month.
The Magic of Science is an event from Lakeshore Learning. The company was founded in 1954 by Ethelyn Kaplan. Her goal very quickly shifted from just owning her own toy shop to helping the many teachers who began asking her for products. Ever since, Lakeshore has catered to those in the field of education, even catering the available inventory to the region the store is located in.
For this event, kids will have a chance to learn a unique way to paint with magnets and paperclips as their materials, make some bubbling lava, take a look at useful scientific tools, and have a story read to them. The experience is open to children who are three and older.
Guardians can check in during the event to enter for a shot at a $100 gift card to the online shop.
Attending the event is free. Information is available on allevents.in. In addition to the San Leandro location, the other stores will also be hosting the event on the same date. An adult must attend with any children. Flyer printing is a popular type of promotion technique for activities which are focused on kids. The event will be running at the San Leandro shop from 11:00am to 3:00pm on May 17th.
