San Leandro race to honor Martin Luther King Jr.

The Best Races will organize an event at the San Leandro Boardwalk this January in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

The MLK Freedom Run is a friendly race that brings the community together to celebrate the Martin Luther King Jr. Those who participate in the celebration will receive a running T-shirt, a finisher’s towel, and a finisher’s medal. Runners will also gain access to a digital training pack and receive an online certificate of completion for the event. Participants will even be invited to take part in a future run organized by The Best Races.

Companies can show their support for the MLK Freedom Run by becoming an event sponsor. There are three ways that businesses can become sponsors for the run. Organizations have the option of creating a team to participate in the race. Stores may also send product samples to be shared with event attendees. The third option is to pay for sponsor packages, which range from $300 to $10,000 and include perks such as logo representation on event tees and being featured on the organizer’s website.

The run will be on January 17th at 7:30 am. There are several race options runners can pick, including the 5K, 10K, and Virtual Run races. Registration for the MLK Freedom Run will close on January 17th. Those in charge of similar races can promote their runs with marketing materials made using printing services.
