A concert is bringing three classic Catalogs of music to the San Leandro area in late September.
Rock of Ages with the music of Bon Jovi, Bad Company, & Journey is a special performance which combines two tribute acts to bring a unique celebration of rock to the stage. The original acts are legendary, with each having songs that are standing the test of time. Bad Company specifically is a “supergroup,” with members from bands like Free, King Crimson, and Mott and the Hoople.
The music that comes from these acts includes tunes such as “Ready For Love,” “Can’t Get Enough,” and “Rock Steady” (Bad Company,) “Livin’ On A Prayer,” “You Give Love A Bad Name,” and “It’s My Life” (Bon Jovi,) and “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” and “Any Way You Want It” (Journey.)
Tickets for the event are sold through the widely used vendor Ticketmaster. The venue, The Bal Theatre, is listing the event as “general admission,” with all tickets being one price. This value is $27.35. The Bal Theatre was created in 1945, officially opening in 1946, and continually operating in the seven decades since. Many music performances, including tribute shows like this one, will have merchandise available that features a graphic design that relates to the talents audiences will see on stage. The concert kicks off at 8:00pm on September 28th.
