Downtown San Leandro will be holding its 28th It’s a Wonderful Night holiday event in December.
The It’s a Wonderful Night Holiday Celebration is an event where families can enjoy several festive experiences. The event will have activities like themed craft stations for children, photo opportunities with Santa, and live holiday entertainment. Attendees can even ride the holiday train throughout Downtown San Leandro. There will also be a holiday marketplace at the event, and the community can gather to watch a tree lighting ceremony.
Artisans who are interested in becoming vendors for the holiday celebration can pay $150 for a 10x10 booth or $175 for a 10x20 space. The event also lets pre-packaged food businesses apply for booth spaces at the marketplace. Organizations that want a Community Resource table for the celebration may purchase a 10x10 space for $100. Participants must register by November 24th and are responsible for bringing their own chairs, tents, and tables to the market. The organizers will provide no electricity or lighting for vendors.
The holiday event will be on Friday, December 5th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is no cost for families to come to this tree lighting and festive celebration, though guests may reserve their spots in advance. Cities that organize community activities like this can make themed seasonal advertisements for their events with printing services.
