San Leandro concert celebrates music of metal legends

A San Leandro event is bringing a performance honoring a band with a long-lasting career to the stage in mid-February.

Damage Inc - The Ultimate Tribute Concert to Metallica will be a show packed full of energy and talent. The performers in Damage Inc are dedicated to giving fans new and old access to a live show featuring music by the legendary rock and roll band.

Since being established in 2004, the group has played for over 500 audiences all over North America. Damage Inc has even participated in a few events hosted by Metallica themselves. In addition, since 2007, the band has hosted benefits to help Toys for Tots each year.

Tracks from Metallica’s catalog include popular titles like “Master of Puppets,” “Nothing Else Matters,” “Fade To Black,” “Turn The Page,” “Sad But True,” “Battery,” “Hero Of The Day,” and “Mama Said.”

Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. Including fees, the price comes to a total of $38.70. As the entire venue is general admission, every ticket has the same cost. Many tours will have merchandise relating to the performers for sale, some of which may have a graphic inspired by the acts printed on it, and flyer printing is a commonly requested service when bands play.

The venue for the event is San Leandro’s Historic BAL Theatre. The show is open to all ages and will take place on Saturday, February 22, at 8:00 pm.
