A duo of music acts from Britain will be traveling throughout the US on a new tour, with a date in late April bringing them towards San Leandro residents.
Adam Ant is a singer, actor, songwriter, and former band leader. He is now bringing his latest ANTMUSIC 2024 tour to Oakland, near San Leandro, towards the end of April. Starting as a member of Adam and the Ants, he found a large amount of success in the post-punk genre.
Shifting into more traditional elements of rock with his solo career, Ant has embraced his pirate-inspired look while entertaining audiences for years. Noteworthy tunes from his music catalog include “Apollo 9,” “Goody Two Shoes,” “Vive Le Rock,” “Beautiful Dream,” “Desperate But Not Serious,” “Won’t Take That Talk,” “How Can I Say I Miss You?,” and “Place In The Country.” The ANTMUSIC 2024 event will also include a set from The English Beat. A graphic design is often included on pieces of merchandise sold during concerts for artists such as this.
Tickets for the show range in price between $49.50 and $179.50, with a special VIP option at $209. While not required for entry, being fully vaccinated and using a mask are both encouraged by the venue. The Fox Theater in Oakland will host the performance, with the music set to begin at 7:30pm on Sunday, April 28.
