The Simi Valley SnowFest is coming to Southern California next month.
Kids in Southern California often miss out on the joys of playing in the snow each winter, but this event is set to bring 40 tons of snow to the Simi Valley. There will be slides, snow to run around in, and lots of attractions for the children to enjoy. Activities such as a giant slide, a basketball shoot-out, an inflatable obstacle course, and bounce houses will keep youngsters entertained, while toddlers will have a special area of their own.
Entertainment will be provided by a juggler, Fairy Tales Story Time, the Simi Valley Twirlers, Art of Boomerang, and Irish Dancing. Food vendors will also be on hand to sell snacks and drinks.
A big part of this event, which will mainly appeal to the adults, is the vendor expo. It will have arts and crafts for sale, toys, clothing and direct marketing firms such as Tupperware. This may be a good opportunity to start holiday gift shopping.
Families from all over, including Northridge, are sure to want to attend this event. Flyers may be distributed to help spread the word.
The Simi Valley SnowFest will be held at Ranch Madera Community Park on November 6 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is $5 per person. For more information, call 805-584-4456.
