Upcoming awards dinner will honor two citizens

The Sidewalk Soiree is taking place this month. It is the annual fundraiser for Los Angeles Walks'.

This year, the organization will be honoring City Councilmember Felipe Fuentes and Bob Inman who leads walks around the Los Angeles area. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the new Steerage Committee members and policy and program manager Emilia Crotty.

Dinner will consist of Los Angeles street food and there will also be plenty of locally made beer, wine, and other drinks. No doubt there will be plenty of time for networking with peers and swapping digital Business Cards.

Los Angeles Walks' is dedicated to encouraging walking and hosts several tours in and around the city. The organization also helps to fund sidewalk funding and repair. One of its programs is entitled Vision Zero, which aims to prevent injuries on city streets.

It is likely that this event will attract people from all over the area, including nearby Northridge. Organizers may invest in services such as flyer printing to help spread the word about the fundraiser in the community.

The Sidewalk Soiree will be held at Deborah Murphy's Modernist House in the Silver Lake Hills on January 23 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets are $150 each. To find out more information about this event, or to learn more about Los Angeles Walks', visit the organization's website.
