The Granada Hills Rotary Club hosts a variety of events each year, and it has partnered with the North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce to present a celebration of local beers and wines.
This year, the group will be holding its Oktoberfest and Beer Tasting at 9015 Wilbur Avenue in Northridge, and this will be the 7th year that this activity has been made available to the public. The planners say that each time it has been held, they have strived to make it even better than before, and there are special offerings in the works.
Along with the samples craft beers and wines, the function will include contests and prize draws. Food vendors and entertainment have been added to the schedule, and all of the proceeds raised during the day will be donated to a variety of charitable efforts. One of the booths that set up will be dedicated to just German beers.
