The SFV Speaker Series and Pop-Up Art Mart is continuing at the Museum of the San Fernando Valley in Northridge next month.
The series takes place on the last Saturday of each month and features a presentation about a local artist, which also includes a display of their art. The event this August will feature the artwork of Earl Beard, as well as a talk. Guests will be served light refreshments and snacks.
The pop-up art market will feature the works of seven local artists, who will be selling a variety of items such as jewelry, sculpture, photographs, prints, and original works of art. The next event will take place on September 24 and will have a presentation about Charles Sherman.
While they are at the museum, guests will have to opportunity to visit the current exhibitions such as ‘The Westmores: First Family of Hollywood Makeup’ and ‘Mid Century Modern’.
Events like this often attract other artists or those in the graphic design industry from all over Northridge and the San Fernando Valley.
