A day of free, family friendly fun is scheduled for the Northridge area, and the festivities will add an extra spooky touch to the Halloween season.
The Child and Family Guidance Center (GFGC) is getting ready for its Halloween Fest 2024. This will be its third year, and while everyone enjoys themselves, they will be helping to raise awareness about mental health.
Families in attendance will be invited to visit the trick or treat village, and there will be an assortment of carnival-style games to play. Wellness booths and other learning opportunities have been planned, and there will be GFGC staff on hand to meet as well. The younger attendees are encouraged to wear their costume, and a petting zoo will give them a chance to meet some new feathery and furry friends up close.
As is the case with many community gatherings, food trucks have been invited to join the fun. Operators of mobile eateries can order vehicle wrap preparation and installation services from area Print shops so they will look their best for an event.
The GFGC Halloween Fest will be welcoming one and all on Saturday, October 26. The venue for the day will be 9650 Zelzah Avenue, and the recommended parking area is 9704 White Oak Avenue. The fun will go ahead rain or shine.
