Northridge to be treated to Oktoberfest fun

  • 2023-03-26
October may be well in the future, but the planners of a Northridge area festival are already hard at work preparing for an annual fall fundraiser.

The Rotary Club of Granada Hills is a community service organization that engages in a variety of projects, and to help fund its work, it has planned its 9th annual Oktoberfest Beer and Wine tasting event. Tickets may be reserved now, as they are expected to sell out quickly, and they are priced at $25 each.

Each person who purchases a pass for the afternoon will be treated to 10 sample pours, and both wine and craft beers will be in the mix. Various contests will take place, including the popular Beer Stein Hoist, and everyone who tries their luck will receive a prize. The music will be supplied by a live DJ service, and the proceeds will all be donated to the causes the group supports.

This signature fundraiser is open to the general public. Promotional Products such as tasting glasses, lanyards, and wristbands can all be prepared for a function by a professional printer.

The Rotary Club of Granada Hills will be bringing the fun to the area on October 21, and it will take place on Chatsworth Street. Any local business that would like to find out or about sponsoring the occasion can contact the planers at (818) 408-6007.
