Northridge presentation to maximize impact of fundraising videos

Not-for-profit groups usually depend upon the generosity of public and corporate donors, and a Northridge online presentation will explore the fundraising power of social media videos.

A free workshop will introduce a variety of social media platforms to the participants. They will learn about the various options available to them, including how to add them to websites and emails.

During the Zoom session, the attendees will learn how easy it can be to craft effective fundraising videos using a camera or smartphone, and they will also find out how to create pieces that are both high quality and budget friendly. They can then be uploaded to platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The facilitator for the activity will be Brian Frankel, who is a social media expert and video program administrator. The runtime for the workshop is one and a half hours, and advance registrations are being accepted.

One of the ways a not-for-profit group can make its fundraising videos more exciting is by using props and other materials that include its Logo Design or other custom graphics. They are often reusable, making them a good value choice.

This exploration of how social media can be a powerful driver for fundraising campaigns will be held on February 8. It will begin at 4:00 pm, and anyone who would like to register will be able to do so by visiting the California State University at Northridge website.
