Horses have long been valued as human helpers and companions, and the Northridge area has been cordially invited to attend an event that will celebrate this relationship.
Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship has scheduled its 20th annual Day of the Horse activity, which will begin in the morning and run throughout the afternoon. It will include both some new additions to its lineup as well as old favorites, and advance registration is not needed.
This drop in style occasion will offer the public the chance to view demonstrations of horsemanship, and complimentary food will be served. Line dance lessons, locally made movies and cornhole, horse shoes, crafting, pin the tail on the donkey as well as other games will be set up too. As there is no parking at the venue, a shuttle service will take passengers from the Chatsworth Train Station for their visit. A request has been made that outside animals not be brought.
Organizations often find that community, open house style activities attract a lot of attention, making them valuable for raising both funding and awareness. A banner printing company can craft decor along with promotional Pens and other swag.
This salute to the value therapeutic horses and riding an offer is scheduled for April 7th. Its Patch listing can be consulted for additional details about timings and the shuttle bus service.
