Some frightful fun is on the way to the Northridge area, and while they enjoy all that is on offer, the attendees will also be learning about the importance of supporting mental health.
Halloween Fest 2024 will be set up at 9650 Zelzah Avenue, hosted by the Child and Family Guidance Center. Everyone in the community is welcome to be part of the festivities, and no entry fee is being charged.
People can stroll through the trick or treat village, and there will also be carnival-style games to play. The wellness booths will offer information about a variety of health related issues, including mental health.
Along with the trick or treating and information booths, attendees at the celebration can visit with the cuddly critters in the petting zoo, make a craft, take in the live music, and purchase a bite to eat at one of the food trucks. Kids are encouraged to wear a costume for the event.
Those who visit the wellness booths will be able to collect Promotional Products and information, and other giveaways are in the works as well.
This day of spooky fun for the whole family is set for Saturday, October 26, with the fun kicking off at 11:00 am. The event will take place rain or shine. Its Patch listing provides more details.
