The North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce provides an assortment of services to its membership and the community as a whole, one of which will recognize some of the area's top educators.
The group, which serves Northridge and the surrounding area, will be hosting its annual Heroes in Education evening, and for the safety of the guests and award recipients, it will be held online. Tickets are $20 each.
The function will pay tribute to area teachers, and the local business community and general public are welcome to submit a tribute to an educator who they feel has gone above and beyond. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories, and the function will help to strengthen the ties between the area's corporate side and its schools. The event is scheduled to run for two hours, and will be hosted using the Zoom platform.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are associated with this virtual activity. Stationery printers that offer Graphic Design Services will be able to prepare custom award certificates to present to those being honored during a special event.
The North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Heroes in Education awards evening on April 28. The deadline to submit a name for recognition, or to sponsor the celebration is April 23.
