An annual Northridge event will offer those who attend a chance to get their fill of pancakes while helping to support local law enforcement.
This year will be the 25th anniversary of the Supporters of Law Enforcement in Devonshire (S.O.L.I.D.) all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast fundraiser, and the proceeds will be used by the organization to help provide resources for the area police station and its officers.
For $9, guests at the breakfast will be able to have as many pancakes as they wish, and those under the age of three do not need to purchase a ticket. The other activities, including games, a chance to browse through the LAPD displays, and meet local officers and tour the station are all being offered free of charge to anyone who would like to participate. Poster printing techniques can be used to create a variety of marketing materials for this type of community function.
Tickets to take part in the breakfast can be purchased both at the door and ahead of time through the S.O.L.I.D. website. The fundraiser has been planned for April 21, and it will be held at 10250 Etiwanda Avenue in Northridge. Its Patch listing can be consulted by anyone who would like to find out more about the fundraiser, the organization it supports, and how the monies raised will be used to help local law enforcement.
