Northridge campus schedules summer movie series

California State University Northridge (CSUN) recently announced that it is pleased to be able to offer a summer movie series, and the flicks will be screened out on the campus’s library lawn.

The venue will be running its series of summer movies throughout June, July, and August, and all of the pictures shown will be family friendly. Each evening will kick off with music and the opportunity to purchase food; students, staff, faculty, and members of the local community are all on the guest list.

The lineup of movies includes nine titles, and it was explained that, as the campus will be closed on August 4th, no picture will be shown on this date. Each is scheduled to begin at dusk, and while pets may attend, they must be on leash at all times. Outside food may be brought in, but members of the crowd are invited to treat themselves to one of the food trucks, and they are also reminded to bring along a portable chair or blanket.

When organizing a community event, planners will be able to source marketing materials from area Print shops. This may include everything from small Promotional Products to hand out to the crowd to full six movie Posters and other advertising.

CSUN has scheduled its Summer Movie Fest to run from June 6th to August 8th. Its website provides a full list of the dates and titles.
