A Northridge area producer of value added vegan foods will be opening its doors for a sneak peek into its operation, and anyone who is interested is welcome to participate.
Field Agent Adam Papagan and the Atlas Obscura Society’s L.A. branch will be leading a tour of the restaurant and meat-free factory that is operated by Follow Your Heart. It will kick off with a guided visit to the production facility, which operates on a zero waste production model and is environmentally friendly. This is not usually open to the public.
Once the tour of the vegan mayonnaise production facility is finished, the guests will head to the vegetarian café and market. Here, they will have an opportunity to learn more about the establishment, its history, and how it has played a role in shaping the neighborhood. The organizers noted the event will be family friendly, and children will be welcome. A printing services provider will be able to supply an assortment of informational materials that can be distributed to anyone who takes part in an occasion like this.
Tickets for this sneak peek into the local vegan food production sector will be held at Earth Island, which is located in Chatsworth. It has been scheduled for February 24 and will begin at 10:30 am.
