Northridge area symposium to bring public safety stakeholders together

Public safety in Northridge and the rest of the LA area depends upon support from all its stakeholders. A meeting that will bring them together with a variety of government officials, police officers, academics, and concerned citizens to discuss ways of making the community a great place to live is set to return, and registration for the event is now open.

The day of discussion will be focused on community policing and other public safety issues. Both breakfast and lunch will be served, and all input will be welcome.

This will be the second year that the community policing symposium has been held, and the participants will be welcome to both learn and offer their own opinions and input. The goal is to create a city where law enforcement and the public have a good working relationship, and the event will give all the stakeholders a chance to find new ways of making this happen.

The day is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am, and the conference will be on offer in St. Anne’s Conference Center. Information packages that include pamphlets and other items from brochure printing companies can be prepared ahead of time for this type of function, and these can be distributed to each of the delegates.

This year’s Community Policing Conference has been scheduled for November 16. Registration is free of charge, and as there are a limited number of spaces, advance registration is required.
