So Cal Chevy fans are set to congregate in the Northridge area for an activity that may attract gearheads from a wide area.
Northridge’s Rydell Chevrolet has organized the 41st annual Classic Chevys of Southern California Car Show, and it is expected that car owners will have vehicles rolling in from all over the southern part of the state. The celebration will be on offer in Chatsworth at the Rancho San Antonio Boys Home, and it will serve as a fundraiser for the venue.
Since 2003, the event has raised more than $225,000 for the cause. The public is welcome to drop by and view the car show, and a silent auction and door prize draws have been included on its agenda. The top entries will receive awards, and a scale model car show and carnival-style midway will be set up. Campus tours and food will round out the celebration.
This event is expected to attract a lot of attention, with sponsorship opportunities available still available at the time of writing. Companies who sponsor will be able to show their community spirit, and their Logo Design may be seen by a large number of people.
This day dedicated to Chevy vehicles and those who love them will be revving up on Sunday, May 5, starting at 7:00 am. Its web listing offers registration links and information for anyone who would like to have their vehicle included.
