The equestrian community in the Northridge-Chatsworth area has a gathering in the works that will pay tribute to the role horses have played in the area’s history.
The Day of the Horse, which is being presented by the Chatsworth Neighbourhood Council, will be free and open to the public. It has been planned with all ages in mind, and this will be its 21st year.
Those who include the activity in their plans will be offered the chance to take in demonstrations of horsemanship, and as the local business community has been invited to take part, there will be a pop-up vendor market to explore. The kids can enjoy the crafts, and free food will be available for as long as supplies last. Parking will be offered at the Chatsworth Train Depot, and a bus will transport the attendees to the celebration. The organizers have asked for non-event animals to be left at home.
A community-based festival provides a way for neighbors to come together, and they also give local small businesses an opportunity to expand their custom base. Choosing eye-catching booth decor can be helpful in attracting attention, and this can be ordered from a poster printing professional.
The 2025 Day of the Horse has been scheduled for Sunday, March 30th. Stony Point Ranch will be the venue for the festivities.
