Northridge fans of vintage clothing may wish to make sure they are at the front of the line for a pop-up experience that will be all about making everything old new again.
For one day only in December, the Vintage Clothing Convention will be bringing a touch of retro to the LA area. Dubbed “ThriftCon”, it allows the public to snag some clothing deals and also add some unique pieces to their personal wardrobe.
At least 100 vendors have already signed up to be a part of the celebration, and both clothing and household goods will be included. Everything from valuable vintage items to inexpensive pieces will be on offer, and both general and early entry tickets are available for the day.
The organizers of the event noted that one feature that will make it stand out is that the clothing and other items will be well displayed, and there will not be bins of clothes to dig through in the search for just the right piece. The vendors that participate in this sort of sale can have Business Cards prepared to give out to the crowd, which can help to create repeat customers.
The Los Angeles Convention Center will be welcoming the Vintage Clothing Convention on December 15. The doors will be open for those who purchased an early admission ticket at 9:00 am.
