Northridge area eateries to be part of SCV Restaurant Week

Northridge foodies may want to loosen their belts before they head out to enjoy a special event that will showcase local culinary talent.

The annual Santa Clarita Valley Restaurant Week celebration is set to return next month, and it will bring food-filled fun for all ages. Many eateries from across the Valley have signed on, and while the public enjoys making some new culinary discoveries, they will be supporting the work of the charity Feed SCV.

Thanks to the financial and other support provided by its corporate sponsors, the week will give the public an excuse to try a new establishment or pay a visit to an old favorite. It is a volunteer led activity, and at least 28 different food service establishments are on the list of venues taking part. They will have special Menus prepared in honor of the occasion, and anyone who would like to go the extra mile can choose to make an additional donation.

Being part of a community restaurant week gives an eatery a chance to shine while also providing an opportunity to participate in a community service project. Special Menus and other custom designed items for an event can be prepared by area Stationery printers.

The Santa Clarita Valley Restaurant Week will run from Friday, 26 January to Friday, 2 February. More details can be found on the event’s online listing.
